Go Green Day - 26.08.15

Go Green Day was celebrated in our Pre-Primary Block.  Children and teachers were dressed up in green colour dress.  Children emphasized the importance of Green environment through song recitation, dance and miming.  Children donated saplings and pots to school. Shri. Madhavan, Asst. Correspondent was present on the occasion and planted saplings.

Tree Plantation camp  -   2.9.15

Plantation of young saplings was organized in our school by Chennai Mavatta Vana Saragam and Chennai Pasumai Iyakkam.  Shri. K. Asokan, District forest officer presided the function.  Shri. Krishnan, Correspondent, Gummidipoondi, VES unit, members of Chennai Pasumai Iyakkam, Shri. Varadharajan, Shri. Subramanian, Lion Club members, Asst. Correspondent Shri. Madhavan and Principal Smt. Shanthi were present on the occasion. Seventy five saplings were planted in the school premises.  Students of VI to VIII Std participated in the noble cause and promised to take care of the saplings to develop green environment.
