Sports Day

PRIMARY SPORTS DAY:

• Primary Sports day was conducted on 25^th  January 2023.  The programme started with prayer. Shri.S. Ponpandian jee, Principal of our Vidyalaya welcomed the guest and the gathering for the inauguration ceremony. Hanuman Flag (Sports flag) was hoisted by the guest Shri.S. Jagadhalaprathaban jee, Shareerik Co Ordinator. The Olympic torch flame was lit by the students. The celebration started with March past by the students of class IV & V std . A student from class V had taken the oath. To shape the character and develop the  students total personality, we conduct a number of co-curricular & extra -curricular activities throughout the year. A few sports events were conducted for the classes LKG to V std.
• The Valedictory function began with prayer. Shri.S. Jagadalapradhapan jee,  Dr.S. Ponpandian jee,  Principal , Shri.S.Madhavan ji Assistant Correspondent of our Vidyalaya,  Smt.S. Usharani,  Educational officer VES and Shri Nagaraj Ji SMDC member were the dignitaries present for the valedictory ceremony. The Programme started with welcome address by Shri.Ponpandian Principal of our Vidyalaya. The students have presented a physical displays such as Drill, Dumbells, Flower stick drill and  Hoops.  On this Special day, our Assistant correspondent Shri.S. Madhanvan Ji addressed the gathering. He appreciated all the students & teacher for their excellent planning and  execution. He advised the students to participate in the field of sports to be fit and healthy.

Many traditional games were conducted and the winners were felicitated with prizes. The ceremony followed by retreat of sports flag & the same was handed over to Shri.Madhavan ji, Assistant correspondent of the Vidyalaya. Selvi. Isha swami of XI std proposed vote of thanks. The programme came to an end with Vandhe Matharam
