Karthigai deepam was celebrated in a holistic manner.  The entire school premises were illuminated with earthen lamps. “Vinai Theerkum Murugan” a drama on lord Muruga was enancted by the students.  A wonderful dance and speech on significance of karthigai deepam were added to the pomp of celebration

Karthigai Deepam was celebrated in an auspicious manner. Prathana Deepam was lit by the Chief Guest Smt. Kowsalya, parent of D. Monica of I A. Children sang bhajan songs, danced to a song on praise of Lord Shiva, enacted a drama “Murugan Thiruvilayadal” and enthralled the audience. Smt. V. Revathy, Social Science Teacher explained the significance of the day through a speech. The Chief Guest presented a poetry on Karthigai Deepam in her address. The entire school premises were illuminated by earthen lamps. The programme ended with Mangala aarthi.
